Form of study Part-time study. Students choose their time and place of study individually. Mandatory in-person meetings: one introductory event and one final exam, 90 minutes each.The course language is English.
Duration 15 weeks. Students should expect to work 15 hours per week.
Credits

After successful completion of the final exam, students will receive an attestation of their participation (9 ECTS). The credits can be transferred to the MAS in Finance at the University of Zurich.

Target audience All persons interested in finance who have a basic knowledge of mathematics, statistics economics and Excel.

Application procedure Application forms can be filled online or sent in by mail. Once you have applied, you will receive a confirmation of your application and an invoice. It is possible to cancel an application until the application deadline. After this date the course fees are due in full and will not be reimbursed unless a substitute participant can be found. In that case, an administrative fee of CHF 100.- will be charged for the cancellation.

Cost CHF 3.700,-  (includes final exam and online tutoring)
Description After completing the course, participants will have a good command of the most important concepts of financial markets theory (portfolio theory, portfolio selection, asset pricing, information efficiency and market efficiency, investment management, options and other derivatives). They will be able to apply these concepts to real-world situations. The level of teaching corresponds to an academic third or fourth year course.The contents will be taught using conventional media (books) as well as electronic media (internet, flash animations, excel exercises). Participants will be accompanied/tutored by online coaches.
